Android app privacy policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026. This policy applies to PDF Master Editor for Android, package com.meellu.pdfmastereditor.
Documents and OCR
The app opens, renders, edits and recognizes PDF text on your device. PDFs, images, OCR results and handwritten signatures are not uploaded to our servers. The Android app does not request internet access, broad storage access, camera, microphone or location permission. Google ML Kit text recognition is bundled for on-device OCR.
Files you choose
Android's document picker grants access to individual files you select. Save As creates a copy at the location you choose. If you choose a cloud document provider, that provider handles your file according to its own policy. Existing document content may remain in files even when covered by an OCR editing patch; this app does not promise secure redaction.
Local storage and retention
Recent-file names, document references and settings are stored locally. Reusable handwritten signature images are saved in app-private storage until you remove them or uninstall the app. Temporary working files remain in app-private cache and can be removed using the app's cache controls or Android's app-storage controls. App files, reusable signatures and recent-file details are excluded from cloud backup and device transfer. Copies you export remain wherever you save them; uninstalling the app does not remove exported PDFs.
Collection and sharing
The app has no user accounts, advertising, analytics or document-upload service. We do not collect or sell personal information through the app and do not automatically share your document contents. You control access through Android's file picker and decide where exported files are saved.
Support and external links
Opening this policy uses your external browser. The website host receives ordinary connection information under its own policy. If you email support, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use it to respond. Avoid sending private PDFs or signatures unless you intend to share them for support. This support-email exchange is separate from the app's local document processing.
Children and updates
This is a general-purpose document utility and is not designed specifically for children. We may update this policy when app behavior changes. The effective date identifies the current version.
